From 11 to 13 June 2025, Helsingborg will host the international conference entirely dedicated to source-separated wastewater treatment. Quite appropriately, this conference will start at the RecoLab, in the residential area of Oceanhamnen, where Desah technology is already being successfully applied.

During the summit, all focus will be on gathering knowledge on this new sanitation and concrete examples of operational source-separated wastewater treatment systems in Europe will be shown.

Desah will not only be represented with a stand on the exhibition floor, but will also participate as a speaker in the knowledge sessions. Here, Sybrand Metz (Desah) will explain the recovery and reuse of key raw materials.

At this year's Aqua Netherlands trade fair, we will be exhibiting for the first time as Noardling! Here, we will not only tell the story behind Noardling, but also inform you about our brands, namely Landustrie, Hubert and Desah. By combining the strengths of three renowned names, we can serve the entire water market even faster and more efficiently.

We take you through the water cycle in which all our solutions and products are present.

Special attention is paid to Desah decentralised wastewater treatment technology, which not only focuses on source-separated wastewater treatment, but also shows solutions for containerised, mobile wastewater treatment as well as blackwater treatment.

We also showcase our innovative water filtration there. For example, the Hubert drum filter offers an advanced water purification solution that meets the highest standards. With a microscreen of only 10 microns, this microfilter provides exceptional filtration capacity, removing even the smallest particles from the water.

From 2025, Landustrie, Hubert Stavoren and Desah will continue together under the new company name Noardling. However, the three renowned company names will not disappear from the picture; they will continue as a brand name under Noardling. With the coming together of more than 250 years of experience, Noardling has all the clout to offer sustainable, reliable products and solutions in the field of water technology.

Landustrie Sneek BV, Hubert Stavoren BV and Desah BV will continue jointly from Sneek. The Landustrie business premises, on Pieter Zeemanstraat, where Desah is also housed, will soon be expanded to include the staff and equipment of Hubert from Stavoren. Joining forces at one location will enable us to serve the entire water market even faster and more efficiently.

All three companies have one important common denominator - WATER! Both Landustrie and Hubert have been supplying (waste) water treatment products for over 100 years. Desah, founded in 2004, plays an important role in developing technology for sustainable and circular waste water treatment. As already applied in the residential area Noorderhoek in Sneek, for example.

Combining all joint knowledge and resources offers many advantages and new opportunities. This not only leads to more efficient operations, but also allows us to strengthen our presence in the water market both nationally and internationally. As you have come to expect from us, we will continue to invest in quality improvement and even more customer-oriented solutions.

From Monday 13 to Friday 17 May 2024, Desah will be present at the international water trade fair IFAT in Munich. You will find us there at stand no. 251 in hall A1. Here we are standing together with Hubert and with Landustrie. Three companies that have started a new joint future since the beginning of this year, together with more than 250 years of experience in transporting and treating water.

We will be happy to tell you about our new sanitation techniques, including the circular treatment of wastewater in the residential area. We do this by collecting and treating grey and black water separately. Major advantages are saving (drinking) water and recovering nutrients and energy.

Current urban water management in the Netherlands is based on large-scale, centralised systems for drinking water supply, stormwater drainage and wastewater treatment. Compared to the current centralised systems, local collection and treatment of wastewater can have great advantages, especially with regard to recovering energy, water and other resources and making them locally available. Decentralised water systems at district level therefore offer opportunities in the context of both climate adaptation and the transition to circular economies. In this session, we will discuss practical experiences and new insights regarding (decentralised) water treatment systems, with a focus on recovery and reuse of water, energy and other resources.
