About DeSaH
Sustainability first
With Desah's innovative technology, we bring a new concept to the water chain. To realise this, we work closely with universities, knowledge institutes and other parties with a high degree of know-how. This allows us to cost-effectively deploy our technology within the (decentralised) water chain.
New sanitation
Waste does not exist in the water chain.
Actual sustainability goes beyond looking for savings; it is about redesigning processes. Nature can serve as an example. Nature has no waste and we can redesign our processes based on this principle. After their life in one product, used materials can be put to good use in another. There must be no loss of quality and any residual products must also be reused. If we succeed in closing the cycle, we will have achieved the natural principle of 'waste = food', which is also the basic principle of the Cradle-to-Cradle principle (C2C).
Thus, we strive for a circular economy where both economic gains, as well as gains in human welfare and gains for nature can be made. With the circular economy in mind, it is strange to keep using old terms like 'waste water'. After all, this water contains valuable components, making it more obvious to speak of industrial, agricultural or household residual streams. The technology to create value from these streams is available in the year 2011. As a pioneer in sustainable water technology, we do not speak of wastewater treatment, but of new sanitation.
Many application possibilities
Our wastewater treatment systems are applicable in many projects and in many different places. In residential areas, but also in office buildings, schools and hospitals. We offer a suitable solution for every location. Want to know more about the possibilities? Then contact Stefan Bergsma, our business developer. It is also possible to request a guided tour of one of our projects from Stefan.
