Simferopol
Simferopol is home to a large sports complex that includes a boarding school for 188 pupils. The complex will be expanded, doubling its capacity. A system with separate wastewater collection for grey and black water will be installed.
Simferopol is located on the Black Sea. Due to its isolated location, the Black Sea is particularly prone to eutrophication. The discharge of wastewater into surface water causes strong growth and multiplication of certain species due to the excess of nutrients in the water, with these species displacing other species and usually reducing species richness or biodiversity. So, from a conservation point of view, it is very important to treat wastewater responsibly.
