Met het toegepaste ontwerp won DeSaH in 2015 al de Zweedse innovatieprijs in de &ldquo;Blackwater and Food Waste Challenge&rdquo; in de categorie &ldquo;Zuiveringsinstallatie&rdquo;, gericht op het recyclen van afvalstromen. Het juryrapport vermeldde destijds: &ldquo;DeSaH heeft een compacte afvalwaterbehandelingsinstallatie ontwikkeld. Een concept dat bijdraagt aan een verhoogde recirculatie van water, voedingsstoffen en energie.&rdquo;<br>In de woonwijk Oceanhamnen wordt nu het grijze en zwarte water van woningen en gebouwen gescheiden ingezameld en verwerkt. Ook zijn de keukens uitgerust met een vermaler voor het verwerken van voedselafval. De nadruk ligt geheel op het terugwinnen van waardevolle grondstoffen zoals meststoffen en biogas &eacute;n op warmteterugwinning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now after completion,
