What makes this project unique is the link between the houses and the surrounding greenhouse horticulture. Here, waste water is not seen as a residual flow, but as a valuable source for reuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The houses will be equipped with a decentralised sanitation system, where grey and black wastewater are collected and treated separately. After treatment, the treated water - along with recovered fertilisers - will be used in cultivation within the greenhouses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The result is a virtually closed water cycle in which domestic wastewater serves again as a raw material. Ultimately, even drinking water is recovered from the system. In doing so, this project makes a concrete contribution to circular area development and innovative water reuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-seashore-color has-text-color has-link-color We also carried out a thorough feasibility study that brought together technology, logistics and spatial integration.
