A centrifugal pump works on a simple but effective principle. At the heart of the pump rotates an impeller driven by a motor. This rotating movement creates centrifugal force: the liquid is hurled towards the outside and leaves the pump via the discharge pipe. At the same time, a negative pressure is created at the inlet, ensuring a constant supply of new medium.
Thanks to the closed impeller, clogging is effectively prevented. This design ensures not only reliable operation, but also a consistently high pump efficiency - without the need to replace or adjust wear rings. This keeps maintenance costs low and keeps the pump running efficiently for many years.
The compact design makes this pump particularly suitable for applications where space is limited, such as in small pump pits, underground installations or pumping stations with limited installation space.
