Features
The compact Desah A-B system is a biological activated sludge system in which wastewater is treated in two steps. Aeration and sedimentation are used in both steps.
In the first step (A phase), organic matter is removed through adsorption, while in the second step (B phase) further treatment takes place through bio-oxidation. Between these stages, an oxygen-free (anaerobic) phase removes nitrogen and phosphate. The result is effluent ready for discharge and reuse.
Its containerised design makes it a scalable and mobile solution that can be deployed quickly with minimal civil works (plug & play). This solution is ideally suited to locations where wastewater must be treated locally because no sewer connection is available.
