With a fresh perspective and a strong focus on sustainability, Desah develops circular solutions that set the tone worldwide.
A good example? In the Noorderhoek residential area in Sneek, we realised the world's first project where grey and black water is collected separately and treated locally.

Award-winning Swedish project
The new circular housing estate "Oceanhamnen" was built in Helsingborg, Sweden, in 2021, with the aim of creating an environmentally friendly residential environment in which waste streams can be reused. In the homes and buildings, grey and black water will be collected separately and processed on site, in the residential area. Desah already won the Swedish Innovation Award in the "Blackwater and Food Waste Challenge" in the "Water Treatment Plant" category in 2015. In 2022, the same project also won the Global Water Award in the Wastewater Project of the Year category.

The RecoLab is a test/research facility with a unique innovative and sustainable wastewater treatment plant. A concept that contributes to increased circulation of water, nutrients and energy.
Smart solutions.
Desah develops modular and flexible systems for decentralised treatment of domestic wastewater. Our technology is successfully applied in diverse situations: from new housing estates and existing urban areas to office buildings, holiday parks, hotels and remote settlements. Even mobile toilet rental companies use our systems. Desah also offers an efficient and sustainable solution as an additional capacity for existing wastewater treatment plants.
