Features
The compact Desah A-B system is a biological activated sludge system in which wastewater is treated in two steps. Aeration and sedimentation are used in both steps.
In the first step (A phase), organic matter is decomposed via adsorption and in the second step (B phase) via bio-oxidation. Between these steps is an oxygen-free (anaerobic) phase where nitrogen and phosphate are removed. The result is a treated effluent that can be discharged or reused.
Its container design makes it a scalable and mobile solution that can be quickly started up without major civil work (plug & play). This solution is ideally suited to locations where wastewater needs to be treated locally as no sewer connection is possible.
